From land to living soils

Who are we?
The Land Transition Institute is a non-profit organisation bringing together stakeholders committed to sustainable land management: local authorities, associations, businesses, research institutions, public operators.
Our aim is to put the preservation of living soils back at the heart of public policy and business activities, both in the planning and construction sectors and in civil society.
We develop applied research and tools designed to enable this transition to be scaled up.
We provide our members with expertise, information and foresight on all issues and projects related to sustainable land management: ecological functions, soil restoration, land sobriety, urban recycling, land governance, etc.

Governance
Five stakeholder groups are represented within the Institute: local authorities, businesses, research organisations, associations and state operators.
